Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Technical Architect for an ongoing program supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Our client provides a wide range of Health IT services, including Enterprise Architecture (EA), and is currently on task to provide Technical Architecture services CMS-wide. We are looking for a highly experienced professional who can work with our team to support multiple workstreams, providing consultative and SME services for the CMS Division of Enterprise Architecture. This role is critical to ensure the agency’s systems are developed , maintained , and transitioned in alignment with a robust and secure technical architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of federal IT technical standards and processes.

Compensation
Salary Range: $150,000-180,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, qualifications, skill level, and location. The final salary offer will fall within this range and will be commensurate with the candidate’s background and the specific demands of the role.

Physical Demands
This position primarily involves sedentary work in an office or remote setting. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers to operate computers and related equipment, and communicate verbally and in writing. Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment up to 25 pounds may be required. The role may also involve bending, reaching, or kneeling when setting up or troubleshooting hardware. Visual acuity is necessary for prolonged use of computer monitors and diagnosing technical issues.
