Senior Writer / Editor (Remote)
Pay: $43.26–$55.28/hour
Schedule: Temporary | Fully Remote

What You’ll Do
Edit, refine, and finalize content for websites, newsletters, announcements, and social media
Develop clear, engaging content for external communications
Apply funder and government style guidelines (APA and similar)
Prepare content for dissemination platforms (Loomly, Constant Contact, Word, PowerPoint)
Review materials for accessibility and clarity
Edit training content, including slide decks and talking points
Collaborate with graphic designers and project teams
Provide thoughtful feedback on drafts and evolving products
No travel required
What We’re Looking For
Exceptional writing and copyediting skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to tailor content for audiences with varied backgrounds and literacy levels
Experience producing newsletters and digital announcements
Strong feedback integration and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Deep familiarity with writing and style guidelines (APA, government guides)
Preferred Experience
Government, nonprofit, social services, or community-based work
Mental health or substance use content
Grant writing experience
Research and formatting skills
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced degree, postgraduate training, or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of research and writing experience
