Job Summary

The Resource Teacher works collaboratively with classroom teachers, administration, and families to provide targeted academic support and interventions for students in grades K–8. This position focuses on differentiated instruction, progress monitoring, and individualized learning plans to ensure student success.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and individualized instruction in reading, math, and written language

• Develop and implement accommodation plans and intervention strategies

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and assessments

• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student growth and strategies

• Participate in Student Support Team meetings

• Assist in coordinating referrals and reviewing educational evaluations

• Support a positive, faith-centered learning environment

Job Requirements

• State teaching certification required; certification in Special Education, Reading, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting students who require academic interventions or differentiated instruction is highly valued.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with children from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.
• Ability to deliver effective instruction in both push‑in and pull‑out settings.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
