The State of South Carolina is seeking two experienced Quality Assurance Analyst Consultants to support increased workload and drive innovation in MMIS systems aligned with national Medicaid modernization initiatives. The role involves translating business and policy requirements into structured test scenarios and supporting enterprise healthcare system validation efforts.
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements and policy documentation into detailed test cases and scenarios
Build and execute test cases within QA/test systems
Identify, track, and report defects and gaps during testing phases
Publish status reports and communicate issues effectively with development teams
Participate in SDLC processes including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality standards in healthcare systems (Medicaid/MMIS)
Required Skills:
5+ years of QA experience or equivalent in lieu of degree
5+ years experience in test case design and requirement translation
3+ years healthcare domain experience (Medicaid preferred)
3+ years experience in defect reporting and communication with development teams
3+ years direct hands on experience with formal test design tools
