Overview Exciting Full-Time Physician Assistant Opportunity in Eufaula, AL. NOW OFFERING A $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS! MainStreet Family Care is growing, and we are looking to hire a fast, friendly Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team full time. You will provide patient-focused care in a high-volume urgent care environment. Services include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be able to lead a small team while working in a fast-paced setting. This opportunity is suitable for PAs early in their career, including brand-new graduates. After an on-site HQ orientation and training, you will have several training shifts with existing providers in one of our clinics, plus ongoing support including a pediatric urgent care CE course and access to an NP on-call to assist with clinical decision making. Responsibilities Care for patients within your scope of practice across age groups (babies to geriatrics) in an urgent care setting. Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues. Perform minor procedures (e.g., toenail removal, foreign object removal) and suturing. Splinting, general orthopedic evaluations/management, and interpretation of general EKGs. Review x-rays (over-read by Radiologist as appropriate). General dermatology and eye problem management; occupational medicine and telemedicine. Collaborate with a small team of medical assistants; lead and model professional practice. Schedule MainStreet Clinic Hours: Open extended hours, 7 days a week: Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Sample cycles: Week 1: Mon ON, Tue ON, Wed OFF, Thu OFF, Fri ON, Sat ON, Sun ON Week 2: Mon OFF, Tue OFF, Wed ON, Thu ON, Fri OFF, Sat OFF, Sun OFF Qualifications Physician Assistant Board Certification required MSN or higher education required (New graduate friendly) DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (certification cost covered) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) preferred Compensation and Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance Starting bonus Performance bonus incentive $750 CME allowance per year UpToDate subscription Paid time off Paid orientation and training 401(k) eligible after 90 days Rotating shifts – typically 7 out of 14 days MAINSTREET FAMILY CARE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
