We are hiring Medical Receptionists in Havertown & Media, PA! The practice is seeking a personable and motivated Medical Receptionist to join its front desk team. This full-time role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy working with people, and appreciate a collaborative work environment. No previous experience in a medical or eye care office is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: • Greet patients and ensure they feel comfortable, welcome, and cared for • Show empathy and understanding when addressing patient needs and concerns • Work cooperatively with team members across various departments • Manage a high patient volume and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Embrace learning on the job, ask questions, and accept constructive feedback About the Practice: This busy, multi-physician ophthalmology practice serves the greater Havertown and Media communities with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and teamwork. Work Schedule: • Monday–Friday, 7:45 am–5:00 pm • One evening shift per week (11 am–7 pm or 12 pm–8 pm) • Possible Saturday shift (once per month, 8 am–3 pm, if reintroduced) Compensation & Benefits: • Starting at $19+/hour, depending on experience • Paid time off, with increases after 1 and 5 years • Paid holidays • Health insurance (50% employer / 50% employee) • Optional dental insurance (100% employee) • 401(k) with up to 4% employer match after 1 year The Team: The receptionist will work alongside a diverse group of professionals, including physicians, billing specialists, technicians and scribes, optical staff, administrative assistants, and managers. All necessary training and support will be provided.
