️ Night Shift Maintenance Technician Helper

Location: Hebron, OH
Schedule: 7PM–7AM | 4 Days/Week | Fixed Weekly Schedule

Our plant operates 24/7, and we’re looking for a Maintenance Technician Helper to support our night shift team and help keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections
• Support technicians in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform basic repairs under supervision (belts, filters, light fixtures, etc.)
• Respond to maintenance calls and assist with equipment troubleshooting
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Document work performed and parts used
• Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
• Participate in training and skill development programs
• Report and take necessary action to prevent food safety, legal, and quality issues
• Follow and support programs outlined in the Food Safety and Quality Manual to maintain compliance with BRC Global Standards and third-party audits
• Maintain good housekeeping in the maintenance shop and throughout the plant
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

What You Bring
We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience and a sharp eye for detail:

• High school diploma or GED (technical school preferred)
• Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS and work in various environments

️ Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb as needed
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and varying temperatures
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly to maintenance issues
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
