Industrial Maintenance Technician Helper Details:

• Temporary position
• $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 05:00pm )

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, continuous operation of all machinery and vehicles while minimizing downtime.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, brake, and fuel systems; replace worn or damaged parts and repair leaks.
• Maintain equipment-specific systems, including forklifts, balers, conveyors, and densifiers, performing structural, mechanical, and welding repairs as needed.
• Ensure all safety guards, lockout procedures, and equipment safety features are fully functional before returning equipment to service.
• Manage parts inventory, maintain service logs, order replacement parts with approval, and keep management informed of wear issues or potential breakdowns.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Helper Qualifications:

• Proven mechanical maintenance experience with industrial equipment, vehicles, and machinery (forklifts, balers, conveyors, densifiers, loaders, processing lines).
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, fuel, brake, and engine systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs.
• Solid understanding of equipment safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and manage parts inventory; effective communication with management and vendors.
