Responsibilities * Manages room cleaning operations to ensure methods meet company and brand standards and keeps room cleaning deficiencies to a minimum * Inspects assigned units each day, ensuring that all standards are met and corrective action is taken by attendants as required. * Inspect VIP rooms daily. * Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas * Strip linens from guest rooms * Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals * Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards * Refurnish the room with supplies, towels etc. * Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner Qualifications * High school diploma or GED preferred * Previous housekeeping experience preferred * Attention to detail * Previous customer service experience * Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed EEO Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
