Job Description
Job Summary (GRC Analyst III)
- Serve as a senior-level analyst specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) functions within a cybersecurity context.
- Lead and execute enterprise risk assessments, audit readiness initiatives, and control oversight activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIST (800-53 / CSF), CJIS, HIPAA, and/or PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, IT, audit, legal, and business units, to drive risk management and compliance objectives.
- Act as an individual contributor, providing subject matter expertise without direct reports.
- Apply strong knowledge of security and compliance standards to support organizational objectives and mitigate risks.
- Maintain and update documentation related to risk assessments, controls, and compliance activities.
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks impacting the organization.
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Required: 6 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, or audit.
- Preferred: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, CHPS, or PCI (ISA/QSA).
- Location: Onsite in San Antonio, TX (3x/week); LOCAL candidates only.
