First Shift Assistant Production Supervisor

(First Shift 6:30 am to 3:00 / 5:00 pm)

Primary Function:

The Assistant Production Supervisor is responsible for supporting department supervisors with daily production needs to help meet customer product demand.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor the hourly workforce to achieve production efficiencies.
• Validates parts meet quality standards any time a new operator is assigned to a job.
• Develops, tracks, and reports on daily key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Effectively communicate the daily goals and production performance.
• Communicate expectations to employees and evaluate employee performance.
• Works with leadership to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Thorough understanding of problem-solving methodologies (root cause analysis, etc.)
