ROLE OVERVIEW:

A leading technology services organization is seeking a Field Service Technician III to support commercial printing and imaging equipment in a customer-facing, field-based role.

This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining copiers, printers, and multi-function devices. The role requires strong technical skills, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine maintenance and break/fix repairs on digital imaging equipment, including copiers, printers, and multi-function devices
• Respond promptly and professionally to service calls at customer locations
• Maintain accurate service documentation, including field service and expense reports
• Identify and report product failure trends and service issues to management
• Ensure all assigned equipment meets operational and performance standards
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Follow all site-specific safety protocols and customer requirements
• Support uptime and reliability in a 24/7 service environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 to 4 years of related technical experience or equivalent vocational training
• Associate's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Prior experience as a field service technician
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to meet performance standards related to service quality and customer satisfaction
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work and on-call rotations
• Ability to obtain required security clearances for customer sites
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, and kneeling for extended periods

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This is a customer-facing role and may require compliance with client-specific policies, including health and safety protocols

COMPENSATION:

In compliance with California pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this position is $25.00–$35.00/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
