Summary
As The Facility Maintenance Technician at one of our Alaskan facilities , you will be responsible for maintaining the facility and equipment in optimal condition to ensure safe and efficient operations. This includes performing preventative maintenance on machinery, repairing equipment breakdowns, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
This role also plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility, including cleaning floors, walls, and equipment to prevent contamination. Additionally, they may be involved in minor construction and renovation projects to improve the facility's layout and functionality.

While performing your duties as the Carpenter, you will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. You will also be occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and are frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is loud. Position requires onsite presence at one of our Alaska processing facilities, and the ability to travel, including at times to remote locations.
Physical Demands
In performing your position as the Carpenter, you must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feed; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Must be able to do frequent walk , climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Can lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
