Your Role:
As a Daytime Esthetics Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering courses that teach students the essential techniques in skincare, makeup, and beauty treatments. Your role is pivotal in creating a supportive and engaging classroom experience that helps students acquire the skills needed for their future careers in the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive lesson plans covering foundational and advanced esthetics topics.
• Conduct engaging hands-on demonstrations and practical training in skincare and makeup techniques.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote learning and improvement.
• Maintain an organized and positive classroom atmosphere conducive to education.
• Stay current with industry trends and integrate new practices into the curriculum as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must possess an active Educator License in the State of Illinois.
• Demonstrated experience in the field of esthetics with knowledge of skincare and makeup techniques.
• Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring students.
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and promote a positive learning environment.
• Availability to teach during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $23.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
