Job Description

Caring Transitions of Guilford – Now Hiring Part‑Time Team Members

Caring Transitions of Guilford helps seniors and their families with downsizing, relocation, estate sales, on line auctions and home cleanouts. We are looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a Team Member , you’ll support clients through major life transitions. This is hands‑on, meaningful work with flexible scheduling.

Compensation & Schedule

  • $17/hr
  • Part‑time, flexible hours (job‑based; weekly hours vary)

Responsibilities

  • Sort, organize and declutter homes
  • Resettle clients into their new homes by unboxing belonging, setting up new space to mirror image previous home
  • Assist with in‑home estate sales
  • Clean out homes to prepare them for listing
  • Work collaboratively with team members

Qualifications

  • Compassionate and service‑oriented
  • Reliable and team‑focused
  • Comfortable using smartphones/apps
  • Trustworthy and able to work independently
  • Local to the area (within 30 miles of Guilford, Branford, East Haven, New Haven, Wallingford, or North Haven)

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • ​​​​​​​ Flexible availability (hours vary; no guaranteed weekly minimum)
