job summary:
As a Drone Flight Operations Assistant, you will be a key player in the final link of the automated delivery chain. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, energetic professional who enjoys a mix of physical work, technology, and outdoor operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading of delivery drones, ensuring every order is secure and accurate before takeoff.

responsibilities:
Job Duties - Load prepared orders onto drones safely and correctly, following set procedures
Double-check orders before loading to make sure everything is accurate and secure
Work quickly and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing PPE while working on the flight line
Keep the loading and staging area clean and organized
Use internal systems as needed to support daily tasks
Communicate any safety, operational, or technical issues to the Site Ops Lead or GSO Coordinator
Be comfortable working independently when needed, including at remote ("nest") locations
Support general site operations, including basic flight observations when required
Job Requirements - Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites as needed
Ability to work a flexible schedule between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, including weekends
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and push a cart weighing up to 160 lbs up a ramp
Ability to stand and be on your feet for extended periods of time
Must complete all required training prior to and during employment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
Willingness to follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE on the flight line
