Location: Wrightsville, PA | Shift: Day | Employment Type: Part-time About the Role
We’re looking for a Drafter Intern to join our team at KRB Machinery. In this role, you’ll support the engineering and design team by creating and updating CAD drawings, revising existing designs, and helping maintain accurate technical documentation that supports production and quality. This work plays an important role in ensuring our teams have clear, reliable drawings to build safe, high-quality equipment. What You’ll Do
• Uphold KRB’s mission, vision, and values, demonstrate stewardship of employee ownership, and recognize the importance of safety for products, our customers, and our teammates.
• Assist with creating and updating 2D and 3D CAD drawings under the guidance of engineering or drafting staff.
• Revise existing drawings based on redlines, engineering changes, or shop feedback.
• Help organize, file, and maintain drawing records and related documentation.
• Support engineering and production teams with basic drafting and design-related tasks as assigned. What We’re Looking For
• Education: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a drafting, engineering, or technical program (high school, trade school, or college).
• Experience: Entry-level; prior coursework or internship experience in drafting or CAD is helpful but not required.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar), ability to read basic technical drawings, attention to detail, willingness to learn.
• Certifications: None required.
