CORPORATE EXECUTIVE CHEF

New York City (Multi-Unit Oversight) | Full-Time

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience


ABOUT ACE'S PIZZA

Ace's Pizza is a multi-unit pan style pizzeria and bar built on bold flavor, strong identity, and a 90s nostalgia edge. We don't overcomplicate things — we execute at a high level, consistently, every day.

We're looking for a Corporate Executive Chef to lead the culinary operation across all locations and help us scale without losing what makes Ace's Ace's.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing 4 active units (with growth ahead). You are responsible for food quality, systems, people, and consistency across the board. You set the standard — then you make sure it's held.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Food Quality & Standards

  • Own the execution of all core menu items across all locations
  • Ensure consistency in product: dough, bake, toppings, prep, and plating
  • Regularly audit stores and correct issues in real time
  • Maintain and evolve recipe specs, builds, and procedures

Operations & Systems

  • Build, refine, and enforce kitchen SOPs across all units
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement better systems
  • Oversee prep systems, pars, ordering, and storage standards
  • Partner with Director of Operations on operational alignment

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop kitchen leadership at each location
  • Hire, train, and hold chefs and kitchen managers accountable
  • Create clear expectations and performance standards
  • Address performance issues quickly and directly

Training & Development

  • Build onboarding and training programs for BOH staff
  • Ensure all teams are trained to Ace's standards
  • Continuously elevate skill level across kitchens

Cost Control

  • Manage food cost across all locations
  • Monitor waste, portioning, and ordering discipline
  • Work with vendors to maintain quality and pricing

Menu & R&D

  • Lead seasonal items, specials, and collaborations
  • Test and roll out new menu items with precision
  • Maintain simplicity and brand consistency in all additions

QUALIFICATIONS

Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.

  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-unit executive chef or equivalent culinary leadership role
  • Strong operational discipline — systems-driven approach to kitchen management
  • Deep understanding of high-volume kitchen execution
  • Direct, clear communication skills; collaborative leadership style
  • Ability to be present and hands-on across multiple store locations
  • Demonstrated ability to scale culinary systems while preserving product integrity

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

In compliance with the New York City Salary Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $90000 – $120000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
