What To Expect
The Project Coordinator for the construction & engineering organization will support various energy manufacturing projects in Brookshire, TX. The primary objective of this role is to support the construction and engineering teams by understanding, identifying, and improving project coordination processes. Ideal candidates must possess excellent communication and planning skills, sound judgment, creative problem-solving abilities, have a strong quality & customer-focused mindset, have the personal drive and stamina for relentlessness, and the ability to quickly adapt to change, along with a strong connection to Tesla’s mission. What You'll Do Gather, organize, and distribute design & construction requirements and inputs across various end usersMaintain and assist in driving productive meetings across project teams, providing, and following up with action items dailyLead initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects while mitigating risk and variabilityEstablish and maintain quality performance metrics.Create and develop status reports and summaries for executive management in conjunction with project leadsTrack project design status from conception to handoff to execution teams
What You'll Bring Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environmentExperience in supporting facilities/infrastructure design processes and administrate tasksStrong interpersonal skills, able to develop channels of communication while understanding and managing professional relationshipsExcellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills are a must Willingness to get your hands dirty to understand the projects you are supportingData science/analytic skills are a plusAbility to drive communication within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines, aggressive goals, and demanding work environment
