Job Description

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Cognitive Neurologist to join its well-established program at its Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care.  The incumbent will join a large and well-supported team of 29 interdisciplinary physicians and 20 advanced practice providers caring for patients in seven locations across Broward and Palm Beach counties.

• Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
• Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with additional fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry (BNNP), Cognitive Neurology, or Memory Disorders 
• Preferred candidates will be certified by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry (BNNP) 
• Ideal candidates will have in-depth knowledge in dementia evaluation, neurodegenerative disease, cognitive decline, and multidisciplinary memory care 
• The Marcus Neuroscience Institute, located at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in a 57,000-square-foot facility, includes a 20-bed neuroscience intensive care unit and four dedicated operating rooms, including intraoperative MRI and CT technology, as well as a biplane angiography suite
• Academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), BHSF has been teaching residents at FAU since 2018, and most recently launched a 16-resident neurology program at FIU in 2025.
