The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Must be able to enter basic patient info electronically. Communicate with insurances when needed. Greet and register patients according to office protocol. Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documents. Maintain and manage patient records. Answer incoming calls, make and confirm appointments. Complete other clerical duties as requested.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Post-secondary courses in business or secretarial school desirable
• At least two years of administrative and secretarial experience in office setting within a large institution. Direct knowledge of hospital procedures preferable
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Strong interpersonal relations. Knowledge of computers required, Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook, Excel, & PowerPoint.
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem/ Day/ as needed

Essential functions:

• Maintains departmental filing system
• Assists department in all clerical functions as needed
• Performs clerical duties in support of a hospital department including, but not limited to word processing, filing, receptionist responsibilities, photocopying and mail sorting and distribution
• Prepares and processes orders for all office supplies as needed
