Job Description

The role involves the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of high-pressure boilers and auxiliary systems. You will be responsible for monitoring gauges, conducting safety tests, and ensuring compliance with California safety regulations, including Cal/OSHA. The position also requires the operation of a stand-up forklift and the performance of preventative maintenance on conveyers and slicing and bagging machines used in meat processing.

• Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers, hot water boilers, and related equipment such as pumps, valves, and burners to provide continuous heating or processing power.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on boiler systems, including cleaning and replacing parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyers and slicing and bagging machines.
• Test and treat boiler water to prevent corrosion and scale buildup.
• Perform daily inspections and safety tests.
• Manage Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.

• Active C-4 License
• Boiler operation and maintenance
• Forklift operation
• Boiler Certification
• Maintenance Technician experience

• Experience with freezers and cold storage
• Ability to lift up to 90lbs
• USDA regulations knowledge

The role is based in a food manufacturing setting with cold storage and meat processing facilities. The work schedule is from 6am to 4pm, and it is a salaried position.

This is a Permanent position based out of Torrance, CA.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
