AutoCAD Drafter (Entry-Level) Our client is seeking a motivated AutoCAD Drafter to join our design team. This is a "foot-in-the-door" role for someone with a fundamental grasp of AutoCAD 2D who is ready to kickstart their career. No professional experience is required—just a solid understanding of AutoCAD software and a desire to learn.
Core Responsibilities
- Drafting Support: Convert sketches and verbal instructions into clean 2D drawings.
- Redline Revisions: Incorporate markups from senior designers into existing files.
- Standardization: Maintain company CAD standards (layers, line weights, and blocks).
- Documentation: Organize drawing sets and manage file protocols.
Requirements
- Technical Familiarity: Completion of AutoCAD coursework or a certificate. Must understand Draw/Modify tools, Layers, and Paper vs. Model Space.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for accuracy and consistency.
- Coachability: Ability to take feedback and ask questions during the learning process.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Windows, PDFs, and MS Office.
