Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overall management and budgetary responsibility for all injection core prep and NDT operations in the front end of operations
• Manage new employee training and coordinate with Training Supervisor
• Maintain a safe working environment and assure compliance with all EHS requirements
• Ensure adherence to process control procedures operating instructions and all quality control instructions
• Responsible for manufacturing methods improvement productivity improvements and quality/scrap improvements
• Coordination with Human Resources the staffing and personnel deployment decisions
• Plan and execute daily manufacturing schedule for schedule compliance
• Coordinate efforts of Supervisors and Department Leads to solve problems improve quality and reduce scrap
• Direct efforts to increase labor utilization and reduce costs
• Ensures a team environment and motivates employees by maintaining a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner
• Interaction with Mold Masters internal support organizations (i.e. engineering maintenance 6S & quality) in connection with departmental initiatives
• Mange operations within a three shift facility
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Manufacturing Operations
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Manufacturing Direct Supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in Investment Casting industry preferred
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus
